Sheep & Wool Festival

Susie "made" me go to the annual Sheep and Wool Festival at the Howard County Fairgrounds in Maryland. Everyone went - sort of a stop along the way for Saturday's lacrosse game. This thing is amazing. It's kinda like the 4H club meets craft fair. There were sheep of all sizes and colors -- and many, many booths with amazing yarns. We stopped at the Dancing Leaf Farm booth first - Dalis raises the sheep, cuts the fleece, spins and dyes, then knits these amazing things! Oh - it was pouring! Furthermore, it took 30 minutes to get into the festival (there were so many people!). It's funny how I think I can knit when I go places like this! Now, I have yarn for a couple more projects!
