Journal Your Christmas - Day 12

Since the kids have gotten bigger, Christmas is pretty much the same every year with a few variations.

For example:

  • We stay home; no traveling
  • We have cheese fondue on Christmas Eve
  • We drink champagne while opening presents
  • I say the kids will have fewer presents, and then buy too many presents (doing better so far this year)
  • We have a non-traditional Christmas meal
  • We watch football on Christmas
  • We decorate the house; although the level varies
  • I (Judy) don't take a ton of vacation; work is quiet and lots gets done
  • We (for the last 7 years) have gone to the Conservatory Nutcracker between 3 and 10 times to watch Sheridan perform. This year -- NOT!
  • Get ahead of myself with the crafting. As usual, I'm behind! We'll write more about all that later!

Some new stuff:

  • Going to watch Lucas's basketball games
  • We're taking golf lessons thru the winter - maybe it'll help!
  • I'm baking (haven't done that for 10 years)
  • I'm blogging - have never done that. It's not like anybody read this junk!

Back to football!
