This morning, it’s 37 degrees; it’s overcast; and it’s dreary. All in all, a somewhat normal December day in Northern Virginia. Generally speaking, it’s not too cold this week; often, it’s 20 degrees colder. For the first time in a long time we’re not in the midst of Nutcracker mania; Sheridan quit Conservatory Ballet this year after about 8 years. More often than not, we got snow during that frenzy. And as far as I know, there's no forecast of snow over the next several days.I prefer fall weather to winter. I like it cool; but not cold – so it's cold enough to wear cool sweaters – either my favorite brand (Eileen Fisher) or something I made. Winter is cold, colorless and boring; Christmas helps brighten it all up!
